Traveling to Milwaukee
By Car
Below are driving directions to the wedding and reception site:
The Schlitz Audubon Nature Center
1111 East Brown Deer Rd., Bayside, WI 53217
Take Interstate I-43 north from downtown Milwaukee approximately 10 miles.
Take Exit 82A East Brown Deer Road [WI-32 East].
Continue east on Brown Deer Road approximately 1 mile, passing Pandl’s Restaurant. The Schlitz Audubon Nature Center is on the right.
Turn right into the grounds and follow the road to the parking lot and the main building. Park near the main building and the outdoor pavilion is to the right.
By Air
Fly in to General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee. The airport code is MKE. From the airport take Interstate I-43 north past downtown Milwaukee and then follow the driving directions above.
By Ferry
If you are traveling from the east (particularly Michigan), consider taking the new high-speed ferry from Muskegon, Michigan, to downtown Milwaukee. Lake Express offers a 2 1/2 hour trip across the lake three times every day. The Lake Express ferry allows you to take your car onboard, or you can rent a car from Hertz at the Milwaukee terminal and then follow the driving directions above.
